June 1st Worship And Upcoming Events

Hey Friends,

Last week our guest speaker, Byoung Cho enjoyed being with our worshipping congregation. We thank him for his challenging message. He did have to catch a plane that afternoon so we missed having him around for further conversation after the service.

We did have our Missions and Children's departments give us updates on their ministries after our morning service and we focused our monthly congregational prayer time on these two areas. We are thankful for the skillful and dedicated heads of our ministry departments at TCBC.

For this Sunday, let me first confirm that the DVP and Gardiner Expressway are closed this Sunday for the Bike Ride for Brain Health. You must give yourself extra time (15 minutes) to use the alternative North South or East West street routes (e.g. Bathurst, Avenue Rd, Queensway/Queen St) if you normally use these highway.

This is our communion Sunday and I will be leading the communion. We have a special guest presenting the message. Norm Henderson is IT specialist serving at the CEML mission hospital in Lubango, Angola. He will bring a unique perspective as missionary serving in a supporting staff role. We look forward to having him join us this Sunday.

Finally, a reminder that this Sunday after church services are over (12:30pm) you can drop off items for the Big Give. Please go directly to the garage. Those wanting to see us in action and help out, please come by on Saturday June 7 anytime from 8am to 1pm to help out and meet the community. That’s all for this week. May you see Jesus shine and experience His Holy Spirit's guidance.

Blessings,

Rev. Nolan
