An Invitation To Attend Sunday Class

Hey Friends,

Last Sunday we launched into a new teaching series called "Living as God's Covenant Community". If you want some examples of covenant, think of Toronto Maple Leaf fans who are taking a summer break (for some it's a heartbreak) but are for sure going to cheer the Blue & White when next year's season starts. I also respectively look to the way Canada's First Nations speak about the land: how their connection/covenant with the land is inseparable from their identity and life and how they want to protect it for generations to come. This Sunday Eddie Chee will turn to Ephesians 1:15-23 and speak on "The Importance of Covenant Community".

Note on our Sunday Class: This Sunday is also when we will shift our focus in our Sunday classes.

We have a great opportunity to extend a new invitation to attend our Sunday class from June to July. Rev. Ken is offering a class starting this Sunday and continuing on through July. The challenge I want to put out is are students who want to use the next 6 weeks to dig deeper into Jesus' teaching on God's Kingdom values. This is essential if you are actually teaching the Bible to others—you want to maintain a high standard of integrity. It's also an invitation to those who are not experiencing what they once did when reading the Bible: the challenge of hearing God speak to us.
