Welcoming in the Summer Season!

Hey Friends,

Does the day seem to never seem to come to an end? If this is a busy time for you than hopefully the beautiful sunshine will give you an extra boost of energy. If life permits you to wind down and enjoy the day, then even better because it’s the longest day of the year!

Thank you for your support of the ministry at TCBC. Your prayers, presence and interest are what sustains the church. Let us know how we can serve you better and share any ideas on how we can reach out more to the community with Christ’s love.

These next two Sundays we will continue reading through 1 Thessalonians in our worship time. For the July long weekend, our teens will be away at camp and the following Sunday (July 9) I will be absent from the worship service and Dr. Enoch Wong will be preaching that morning. Dr. Enoch Wong has his Ph.D. in Leadership studies and carries a license to preach from the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Canada. I will also be away for the last two Sundays in July. I thank in advance for being able to call on Rev. Johnny Daisley and Simon Pan to preach during the Sundays when I am away.

The invitation to rest in God comes to us in many places in the Bible. You don’t have to stop serving or turn off your brain completely. Just pause more frequently, walk more instead of running and start your prayer with a simple: “Come meet me Lord Jesus” and see what happens.
