Hope You Are Enjoying Your Summer

Hello Friends,

I’ll be away for two Sundays taking a trip as a family to Hong Kong. I heard has is that Hong Kong has changed in some ways since I was there 5 years ago. One thing that hasn’t changed is that it is hot and humid in the summer!

In August TCBC has three major outreach initiatives. We run a children’s camp running from Aug 14-18 that reaches out to families. We have a table at the Chinatown Street Festival where we invite people to get to know our church. And we host the Jesus loves Toronto mission outreach run by Toronto Short Term Mission training centre. Please pray for these initiatives and consider helping out.

For our congregation, we are looking forward to our annual weekend away as a congregation.

Purpose of the English Congregation Retreat:

To Rest: Taking a break from our hectic lives in the city and to find rest in a beautiful space that God created.

To Connect: Devoting time and space for God and with each other will help us build a stronger community. We hope that this will be a time for us to enjoy the presence of God and the fellowship of each other.

Individual $150 per adult, $100 per youth

Family $250 for 1 parent with their children (under 18),
