Happy First Day of the Fall Season!

Hey Friends,

TCBC Mandarin Ministry’s Mid-Autumn celebration last Saturday went well and so did our Matthew House dinner on Thursday. Passing on a quick note of thanks from the leadership of Matthew House: “We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the incredible meal you provided for our recent Matthew House dinner. It was a wonderful success, with 14 former and current residents joining us for a truly special evening. Your kindness and generosity in preparing such a delicious meal brought smiles and warmth to everyone who attended. The sense of community, Faith and care your team showed truly made a difference, and we are deeply grateful for your support. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the cooking and preparation.”

Our TCBC English Congregation Activities page has been updated: English congregation Activities

Through this page we will keep you updated on upcoming events.

For those interested in the work of overseas development and constructing purpose-built mission facilities, we are hosting Greg Young from Engineering Ministries International speaking on:

“What is ‘good development’ and how do we as the Church do it with excellence?” This presentation happens on Friday night, October 4.

Tomorrow we have Eddie Chee preaching on the Sabbath controversy in Mark 2:23-3:6. All of us need to find a proper rhythm of work/rest, and of diligence/grace. We look forward to hearing the teaching tomorrow.

Volleyball also restarts: 3:00pm at CPC Gym, 171 Beverley St. No need to register this first time, just come, play and meet others who like volleyball.

Hope you can join us in-person or on-line through our livestream. If you are travelling from West of Toronto please note that the Gardiner Expressway is closed now until Sunday at 10 AM.

In Christ,

Pastor Nolan
