Here is a letter from Sid Ingham, Big Give Organizing committee:

Praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for the vision of a community in action. We are blessed by this opportunity to serve alongside you.

With about 3 and a half weeks to go, let us pray for the preparations that are ahead of us.

Lord Jesus, we thank you for your presence in and through our Chinatown neighbourhood. We thank you for our partner neighbours in this upcoming event and how each of us and our neighbours may be blessed by our encounters with each other. We pray for the shalom of the neighbourhood, that our shared encounters, shared conversations and the blessing of the presence of one another testify to your presence and purposes. May we seek to discern how we might become more intentionally focused in your call to love our neighbours. Soften us so that we may be attentive to the concerns and undercurrents that shape the lives of those whom we will encounter. Lord Jesus, hear our prayers. Answer our prayers. May your name be forever praised! Amen.
