Family Fun Day - Oct 22

Hello Friends,

We are blessed with amazing weekend weather. It's definitely a great chance to enjoy the outdoors.

With that in mind I'd like to invite you to join our EM Family Fun day. This is our second "across the generations" event this year. If you were at our August weekend retreat, we'd like to see you again. If you missed our summer gathering, we'd like you to join us and mingle with the folks that make up the EM family at TCBC.

Here's what we are planning

• meet up at North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church (parking available, 88 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M2N 2H7) at 1pm

• we will start out with a multi-generational volleyball game at Edithvale Park

• those who want to continue playing volleyball or shoot hoops at Edithvale are welcome to do so

• there will be an option to take a hike through North York

(Note: Please wear comfortable shoes, loose slacks (or better yet athletic pants/shorts). Please bring your own water bottle (at our church we try to limit handing out bottles of water, but we will have some water available). We will have sandwiches and hot chocolate available for afternoon snack.

At 3pm we will return to NTCBC basement and enjoy an afternoon break

We will quickly go through the different groups and let you know what's happening and how you can participate if you are interested in joining

• Thursday Night Women's Bible Study

• Friday Night Men's Group

• Barnabas Youth Fellowship

• Bereans Fellowship

• Sunday Afternoon Sports

(If you are overseeing one of these groups--please help in letting us know what your group is about)

We hope to finish at 4pm

For Sunday, no surprises that I know about so we hope you can join us at 10am. Martin Tam will be preaching.

Lastly, I want to pass on a Christmas Gift drive our church is doing for Cambodian children.
