An Art Exhibition, Summer Camp And A Street Festival--It Must Be Summer!

Hey Friends,

The Art Exhibition "Worship through Art: 'In His Image'" (July 9-11) has opened at OCADU! This is an initiative let by our Mandarin ministry partners. If you are in the TCBC area tonight, Thursday or Friday consider stopping by and seeing what our church members and other Christian artists have created.

Later this month we are hosting our VBS Summer Day Camp (July 28-Aug 1) for children aged 5-12. For the first time ever we are partnering with Cornerstone Presbyterian Church and together we have a total of 37 registered campers. The fun begins in two and a half weeks!

On August 9-10, TCBC has a booth at the Chinatown Street Festival on Spadina Ave. For the past two years, our spot on the street has been one of the most visited displays because we have some arts and crafts for the children to do and take home. While the children are engaged, we have opportunity to strike up a conversation with the parents or guardians. TCBC sees this booth as an outreach opportunity and are inviting members from our congregations (Cantonese, English and Mandarin) to help.

The theme of partnership, working together and sharing in ministry and outreach…is there a sermon coming up about that coming up?
