The English Worship Service is held every Sunday from 9:30 – 10:45 AM.
Upon entering the Beverly Street doors, you will be warmly greeted by our friendly ushers. Our worship begins with music led by a number of different praise teams overseen by the Worship Ministry Leadership Team. There is also a choir that presents a more traditional piece for us to meditate on. While the service tends to be more contemporary in nature, there are some elements of tradition that continue on. For example, you will learn that the Doxology is sung each week at the conclusion on the service. This is a tradition that has been carried on by communities of believers for many centuries and is deemed to be a meaningful way to bring closures to our time of corporate worship.
After service, everyone is invited to join us for a little social time with coffee, tea and light snacks available. Its a chance to get to catch up with people and get to know each other.
During the colder months the coffee will be served in the basement. As the weather gets more pleasant, we will be setting up a table outside in front of the church on Beverley street.
There are many ways you may become involved in the worship service, beyond attending each week. You may be interested in joining a praise team or the choir. There are also many opportunities to get involved with AV/Sound/PowerPoint. Please contact the following people if you are interested in learning more about or getting involved in any of these areas.
