Dear Friends of TCBC,
Note: As a result of the rising infection counts in Toronto, the TCBC Leadership has made the difficult decision to suspend in-person worship starting on October 18, 2020. In person service will remain suspended until such time as we feel it is safe to re-open.
Until then we will continue to offer a LiveStream, on-line worship. Worship time is 10 AM every Sunday morning. You will be able to find a link to it on our Sermons page.
It’s evident that we are living in unprecedented circumstances. Many are feeling unsettled. The temptation to withdraw from others and from living out your faith is pressing. Therefore it is all the more important that you continue to pray – pray for those who are sick, pray for the elderly who have more reason to fear, pray for our church, pray for our city. It’s important that you continue to serve – call a friend to make sure they’re okay, check in on your parents, organize video conferences for fellowship. And continue to grow – take in much of God’s word during this ‘quiet’ season. Strengthen your heart with the knowledge of who God is and what he has done, and though we can’t be together as a whole church, continue to hold on to the promise that ‘where two or three are gathered, there am I’ (Matthew 18:20).
Your pastor and the leaders of TCBC’s English congregation are still in your service. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. If you know of someone in need, please contact our caring ministry using Englishcaringministry@tcbc.on.ca.
