Worship Service

*** Update ***

Due to the continuing rise of COVID cases in Toronto we have weighed the pros and cons of offering in-person worship to our Cantonese, Mandarin and English congregations. Our leadership team decided Tuesday night to temporarily suspend in-person worship for the month of January.

Please continue following us through our YouTube Channel.

We will continue to post updates regarding our Sunday Worship Services on the News page and Worship Service as the situation with Covid changes.

Praise God!!

As of September 19th, 2021, we have re-started our in-person Worship Services!!

In order to maintain social distancing protocols, we have moved the English services from TCBC  to nearby St George the Martyr Church located at 30 Stephanie Street.  The Cantonese and Mandarin Congregations will hold their Sunday Worship Services at the Beverley Street Church.

Service begins at 10 AM every Sunday.  For the safety of all attendees have implemented the following protocols:

  • As of December 5th, we are no longer asking people to pre-register for in-person service.  Instead, we will be requiring everyone over the age of 18 to show government issued proof of vaccination certificates or the related QR code.  We will also accept valid medical exemption documents for those that are unable to be vaccinated.
  • You must wear a mask while inside the church and in the church courtyard
  • Attendees will be seated observing proper distancing, however, families will be seated together

We request that you arrive early to service to allow the ushers to check you in and seat you before service begins.

If you are unable to join us in person, will continue to LiveStream, the service over our YouTube channel.  You will be able to find a link to the LiveStream on our Sermons page.

Sermon Page

You may watch the service live at 10 AM or a recorded version at any time after that.  A new link is posted every Saturday night for the next morning’s service.
Also on the Sermon Page, you will find links to previous sermons.  These are public links so you can send them to anyone who you think might be interested.

It’s evident that we are living in unprecedented circumstances. Many are feeling unsettled. The temptation to withdraw from others and from living out your faith is pressing. Therefore it is all the more important that you continue to pray – pray for those who are sick, pray for the elderly who have more reason to fear, pray for our church, pray for our city. It’s important that you continue to serve – call a friend to make sure they’re okay, check in on your parents, organize video conferences for fellowship. And continue to grow – take in much of God’s word during this ‘quiet’ season. Strengthen your heart with the knowledge of who God is and what he has done, and though we can’t be together as a whole church, continue to hold on to the promise that ‘where two or three are gathered, there am I’ (Matthew 18:20).

Your pastor and the leaders of TCBC’s English congregation are still in your service. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. If you know of someone in need, please contact our caring ministry using Englishcaringministry@tcbc.on.ca.
