Take The Sunday Message One Step Further

Hello All,

We thank Rev. Ken for giving us the message this morning. Rev. Ken serves as the Director of Church Life and Leadership for our denomination, CBOQ and has walked with us through several of the Parables in Luke. Last Sunday we dove into Luke 16 and the Parable of the Shrewd Manager. If you are attending a small group or in your personal reflection time, I invite you to read it again and take some of the suggested questions in mind:

  1. "Give an account of your management": How would you feel if your finances or work performance underwent an audit (i.e. every detail examined)?

  2. "If you have not been trustworthy": Do you ever think about eventually having your life reviewed by God?

  3. "The Pharisees, who loved money": What does money have to do with our spiritual life?

  4. "The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly" (with intention and towards a better future):

    • What are some matters of this earthly life that we try hard to plan for?

    • What are Kingdom purposes that we are intentionally planning for?

And in case you missed it:

- Simon Liu shared about his upcoming mission experience. Here's how you can find out more:
