Snapshot Of What's Happening In Our Ministry

Those who can come to our Ministry Lunch, please do.

It’s meant to be a snapshot of what’s going on in the English ministry. We try to keep our communications personal and our congregation a kind of community where you can recognize most people. On the Sunday we will group our introductions into three areas:

Sunday Worship: keep our ministry teams in mind and join in to help if you can

• Morning choir

• Worship team

• Audio Visual support

• Front door greeters

• Coffee and Snacks

• Children’s Ministry assistants

Mid-week groups: open for new members to join in

• Barnabas (Youth only)

• Bereans (House Group)

• Friday Night Men’s Group

• Women’s Bible Study

Community Partnerships

• Friday Night Scouts (together with TCBC Mandarin Ministry)

• Sunday Conversational English (together with TCBC Mandarin Ministry)

• Sunday Badminton and Volleyball (together with Cornerstone Presbyterian)

• Tuesday Night Alpha Course (run by St. George Grange Park)

And, just to pass on additional outreach events coming up in September

Matthew House Reunion Dinner (hosted by our Friday Night Men’s Group)

When: September 19th, 2024 (Thursday)

Where: First Baptist Church Toronto, 101 Huron St, Toronto, ON M5T 2A9

What time: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Games from 5 pm to 6 pm, Dinner starts at 6 pm)

Japanese Finger-Painting class (organized by the Cantonese Ministry)

At the Chinatown Festival couple weeks ago, some new English speaking friends stopped by our booth and enjoyed this activity. They have signed up to join the class at the church on those dates. If you are interested in making Japanese Finger Painting and excited to introduce TCBC to some newcomers, please let Jasmine know (em@tcbc.on.ca).

When: Sept. 15 & 29 (Sundays)

Where: TCBC Basement (enter through side door)

What Time: 2 pm to 4pm

Material Cost: $4 per class
