Hey Friends,

Thanks for your continued interest in what’s happening at TCBC. As a precaution against possible outbreaks we have moved all of our ministry on-line for all of January. As of now, there is no consensus on when the Omicron wave will break and so we can’t provide any date for when we will open ministries to in-person attendance. For sure though, you will have to usher in the Year of the Tiger with just your family around! Chinese New Year is Tuesday Feb. 1

Being on-line has offered us opportunities to start new groups. This is a great opportunity to meet some other members of TCBC and engage in bible study and discipleship. Be sure to check out our summary sheet often as we will keep this constantly updated so people like you will know what’s happening.

This Sunday we have Martin Tam preaching. Following our series on Biblical Friendship, he will be presenting on the topic “God initiates Friendship”.  You can find a link to the LiveStream on our Sermon Page

As always, after Sunday service at ~11 am, our Zoom Room is there for you to catch up with others in the TCBC community.

Happy New Year!

Our first Sunday in 2022 will be on-line only (I’m speaking only to a camera but will be trusting that there is someone on the other side!). It will also be a Communion Sunday so please prepare your elements if you wish to join in. Here is the link to tomorrow’s service (starts at 10am, and yes we are live!)

We are starting off our Sunday’s with a 3 part series called the 3D Gospel. The message of the gospel is one of freedom: freedom from guilt, freedom from fear, freedom from shame. The fruits of the gospel is a new community in Christ that is marked by forgiveness, confidence and honouring one another. So if you know of anyone struggling with:

• guilt: weighed down by guilt or struggling to forgive others for what they’ve done to them
• fear: what will happen in the future, can’t face certain people or overcome their circumstances
• shame: feeling left out, unaccepted, unappreciated

Share with them the link above and invite them to hear the message of Jesus.
